How to beat the bosses of the Hyrulean Adventure. Many fights use the four Links' colors: in a fight against a multicolored enemy, attack each part with the Link of the matching color.

Phantom Ganon (Hyrule Castle and the Temple of Darkness)

Hit the ball of energy Phantom Ganon throws back at him, like a game of tennis, until it stuns him, then attack him with all four Links. Repeat until he's defeated. In the Temple of Darkness he brings clones; ignore them, line your Links up, and keep hitting the real ball back.

Giant Crab (The Coast) and Multicolored Crab (Frozen Hyrule)

Each of the crab's claws matches one of the Links' colors. Hit each claw with the Link of the same color until all of them are destroyed.

Stone Arrghus (Eastern Temple)

Put your Links in a cross formation and throw the Boomerang to knock away the rocks around Arrghus. When its eye turns red, slash it. Stand in a corner when it jumps.

Helmaroc King (The Mountain Path)

Throw bombs at the giant bird as it flies past. Then, from inside the hut, hit its head with the Magic Hammer to knock off its crown. Keep bombing it and slashing it until it falls.

Dodongos (Tower of Flames and Realm of the Heavens)

Wait for a Dodongo to breathe in, then throw a bomb into its mouth. The giant Dodongo in the Realm of the Heavens takes three bombs.

Jalhalla (The Swamp)

Keep one Link standing on a switch so the lantern stays lit; Jalhalla absorbs its light and becomes vulnerable. Slash it while it's exposed. It splits into ghosts and gets smaller each time, until it's gone.

Big Poe (Infiltration of Hyrule Castle)

Light all four torches before Big Poe can blow them out, then slash it. If it swallows a Link, attack the creature inside it.

Big Moldorm (Pyramid)

Hit its tail with the Link of the matching color until it splits apart, then destroy each tail.

Frostare (Tower of Winds)

Use Roc's Feather to get up to the flying eye and stab it while it's in the air, then slash it while it's stunned.

Vaati (Palace of Winds)

Throw bombs into Vaati's tornado so they're carried up and explode at the top. When he starts firing purple balls, jump into the cannon in the middle and launch yourself at him when he comes near.

Ganon (Palace of Winds)

Keep your Links in a box formation and hit Ganon's sides when he stands still. If he sends you underground, defeat the Stalfos to get back. In his second phase, hit the green balls from his trident back at him to stun him. Princess Zelda then sends a ball of light; fire a charged arrow through it to finish him.
