Bow and Arrow How to get it: Found in the basement of the first dungeon. Description: Another familiar item. Kills many enemies, but costs a rupee for each arrow you shoot. |

Boomerang How to get them: Can be found in the first dungeon. Description: Throw it, it comes back to you. Kills the weaker enemies and stuns many of the larger ones. |

Magical Boomerang How to get them: Can be found in the second dungeon. Description: Upgrade of the original boomerang. |

Bombs How to get them: Can be found all over Hyrule. Description: Just like in all of the other Zelda games, there are bombs, but in this one, there are only 8 (until you upgrade), so use them sparingly! |

Magic Rod How to get it: Found in the sixth dungeon. Description: With this, Link can shoot out a beam of magic. |

Red Ring How to get it: Found in ninth dungeon. Description: Decreased the damage from the attacks of enemies by a fourth and changes your tunic color to red. |

Blue Ring How to get it: Can be purchased from a shop in Hyrule for 250 rupees. Description: Decreased the damage from the attacks of enemies by a half and changes your tunic color to blue. |

Book of Magic How to get it: Teaches Link spells that upgrades his Magic Rod. Description: Found in the eighth dungeon. |

Compass How to get it: Can be found in each dungeon. Description: Yet another familiar item. It is used to locate the location of the fragment of the triforce in that particular dungeon. |

Map How to get it: Can be found in each dungeon. Description: Helps you find your way around of the numerous dungeons. |

Clock How to get it: Sometimes appears after defeating enemies. Description: Makes all on-screen enemies freeze. |

Ladder How to get it: Found in level four Description: Can be used to cross bodies of water as wide as yourself. |

Raft How to get it: Found in the third labyrinth Description: Needed to cross the sea to reach the next level. |

Bait How to get it: Can be purchased in several shops throughout hyrule. Description: Use to put enemies' minds on something else. Useful when surrounded by enemies. Doesn't work for all. Needed to get past a goblin who chants "gumble, grumble.." to access the seventh level. |

Fairy How to get it: Can be released after defeating some enemies. Description: Restores your life meter. |

Flute How to get it: Found in the fifth dungeon. Description: Needed to defeat the boss of the fifth dungeon. |

Blue Candle How to get it: Can be purchased from numerous shops. Description: Can only be used once per screen. |

Red Candle How to get it: Can be found in the seventh dungeon. Description: Doesn't have the limit of the Blue Candle. |

Magic Key How to get it: Found in the 8th dungeon. Description: Opens each dungeon and can be used over and over again. |

Key How to get it: Can be found in each dungeon. Description: Needed to open locked doors. |

Letter How to get it: Given to you by the old man in the cave to the norteast of Hyrule. Description: Needed to get the water of life. |
