This woman calls the guards when she sees Link. |

Saharashala
He hides out in Eastern Palace when all the trouble starts in Hyrule and gives Link the Pegasus Boots after he collects his first pendant. |

ManThe Man is found at the entrance to the Desert of Mystery. He will sit in meditation, not speaking to Link unless Link messes with the sign next to him. |

After giving the Witch the Magic Mushroom, her assistant will give Link Magic Powder. She also restores his life with a free sample of the red potion whenever he talks to her. |

This boy accidentally entered the Dark World, although his ghost can still be seen at the haunted grove in the Light World. In the Dark World he lends Link his shovel, which Link uses to find his flute for him. After hearing the sound of the flute for a final time, the Flute Boy lets Link keep the Flute. |

For a fee, the fortune teller will give Link clues as to what he needs to do next. |

Kiki
Kiki the monkey likes rupees more than anything else. For 10 rupees he will follow Link around. After that, he will open the Dark Palace for 100 rupees. |

The King of Hyrule, he allowed Agahnim to come in and solve Hyrule's problems during a time of plague, then Agahnim began the plot to send the 7 maidens to the Dark World so that Ganon could eventually conquer both worlds. He returns to Hyrule after Ganon has been defeated. |

King Zora sells Link the flippers for 500 rupees. |

Lumberjacks
The lumberjacks are cutting down a tree and notice it feels strange as they're working on it. After Agahnim is defeated Link discovers the tree is hollow and contains a piece of heart. |

Link meets the old man on his first trip to Death Mountain and receives the Magic Mirror from him. |

Priest
The priest lives in the Sanctuary and keeps Princess Zelda hidden from Agahnim while Link collects the 3 pendants. |

If Link can catch the running man, he'll tell Link the secret of dashing into trees with the Pegasus Boots for items. |

Sage
These wise men can offer Link advice if he can find them. |

Salesman
He sells Link a bottle and will also buy fish and the Good Bee if Link can find it. |

Hobo
If Link talks to the hobo under the bridge, he will give him a bottle. |

Drunk
This guy is always found talking in Kakariko Inn. |

Smithy
His partner has been lost. When Link finds him in the Dark World and returns him to the Blacksmith's hut, they will temper his sword to make it more powerful for a measly 10 rupees. |

Soldier
The guards that once fought against you are there to defend Hyrule after Ganon is defeated and Agahnim's magic no longer controls them. |

Thief
They can be found in the Lost Woods. If a thief runs into Link, he will drop some of his items, and they will steal some of them. |

Link's Uncle
He sets off on a quest to defeat Agahnim, but doesn't get very far. He gives Link his sword and shield. |

Venus
The Queen of Fairies. If you drop 100 rupees in her Wishing Well, she will upgrade the number of bombs or arrows you can carry. |

If you give her the Magic Mushroom, she will make Magic Powder for you. |
