Fighter's Sword
This is the sword you will get from your uncle. Its relatively weak, but gets the job done. |

The Master Sword
You can get this from the pedastal in the woods after collecting all three pendants. It is stronger, and will allow you to perform a beam attack when at full health. |

Tempered Sword
Once you find the lost smithy and return him to the smithshop, the smithy's wil offer to temper your Master Sword for a small fee. It is alot stronger than the Master Sword, and is red. |

The Golden Sword
You will get this from tossing the Tempered Sword into the Fairy Fountain on the pyramid of power. It is stronger now than ever before. |
|
 |
Fighter's Shield
This is obtained from Links uncle. It cannot block as many objects as the other shields, but will sufice for awhile. |

 |
Magic Shield
This shield can be bought in some shops, or you can toss your normal shield into a fairy pond for an upgrade. It will allow Link to block fireball attacks. |

 |
Mirror Shield
This shield can be obtained in the 7th dungeon of the dark world. It will allow Link to block all types of projectiled attacks, and it looks cool. |

Green Tunic
This is your normal tunic. It doesnt protect you very well. |
|
 |
Blue Tunic
The Blue Tunic can be found in the 5th dungeon. It will protect Link drastically better than before. |
|
 |
Red Tunic
This is found in the 7th dungeon. It will protect Link the best. |
|
 |
Power Glove
The Power Glove is found in the second dungeon. It will allow Link to lift heavy objects such as rocks. |
|
 |
Titan's Mitt
This is found in the 4th dungeon of the Dark World. It will allow you to lift dark rocks and objects, that you normally couldnt with the power glove. |

 |
Pegasus Boots
The Pegasus Boots are found after getting the first pendant. They will allow Link to run at high speeds to break walls or charge enemies. |
|
 |
Zora's Flippers
The flippers can be bought at Zora's Domain for 500 rupees. Once obtained, they will allow Link to swim in deep water. |

The Book of Mudora
The Book of Mudora is used to read old Hylian text and is found in the library. You must ram the bookshelf once you get the pegasus boots. It is needed to enter the second dungeon in the desert. |

The Boomerang
You will find this handy item in a chest in Hyrule Castle. It can momentarilly stun enemies and retrieve items from a distance. |
|
 |
Bombs
Bombs are found most anywhere in Hyrule. You can buy them in shops and find them after killing enemies. You can use these to blow holes in walls to find secret items. |
|
 |
Super Bomb
This is found in a shop in the Dark World where Links house would be. It can only be found after defeating the 6th dungeon. It will allow you to blow a hole in the cracked wall at the pyramid of power. |

Bottles
A total of four can be found in the game. You can store bees, potions, and fairies in them for later use. Find one in the backside of the bar in Kakariko, the turban man selling them, one under the bridge near Hyrule castle heading towards the first dungeon, and in the Dark World there is a chest you find where the Swordsmiths hosue was, take it to the theif standing just before the desert. |

The Fairy Bow and Arrows
The bow is found in the first dungeon. Some enemies can only be defeated with the bow. |

The Bugnet
You will get this from teh Sick Boy in Kakariko Village. Use it to catch fairies or even bees! (Try catching a bee and releasing it on Ganon for a laugh!) |

The Staff of Byrna
The cane will produce a protective shield around Link until your magic runs out or until you shut it off and will damage enemies that touch it. It is found on Death Mountain. Near the warp near the Tower of Power, go down and jump off the cliff and go into the cave. |

The Staff of Somaria
This useful gizmo will produce a small redish block when used. If you use the cane again, the block will break off into a few tiny projectiles, damaging most anything it hits. It is also useful to use when certain foot switches wont stay down on their own. This is found in the sixth level of the dark world. |

The Firerod
Found in the third dungeon in the Dark World in the Lost Woods, this rod will shoot fire. It is very useful for lighting torches or burning moths. |
|

The Flute
You will get this from digging near the Flute Boy in the Light World. You must be given the shovel first. It is to the left of the flute boy in a small patch of flowers. |

The Hookshot
The hookshot is a great tool to use to grapple things and pull you to it. It is found in teh second dungeon in the Dark World. You need this for many things in the game, and to defeat certain bosses. |

The Icerod
Found in a cave in the far eastern side of Hyrule in a cave, it is used to freeze enemies and is very effective on the Lanmola's. |
|
 |
The Lamp
The Lamp is the first item you will get. It is in the chest in your house. It can light torches to bring light to dark rooms. |
|
 |
The Magic Cape
The Magic Cape is used to cloak Link. It is found in the graveyard at the far right side. Dash into the tombstoen there and it will open. |
|
 |
Magic Hammer
The hammer is used to smash many things, like pegs for example. Found in the first dungeon in the Dark World, it can defeat enemies (has the strength of the red sword lv.3) and will be needed to reach many areas of Hyrule. |
|

Magical Mirror
This mirror will be given to you by the Lost Old Man in Death Mountain. It will allow you to change from the Dark World easily, and will leave a magical box behind so you can re-enter the dark world. |
|
 |
Mushroom
This mushroom has but one purpose. Once you find it in the woods, bring it to the witch. She will brew up some magic powder for you. |
|
 |
Magical Powder
You will get this after you give the old lady the mushroom at the potion shop in northern Hyrule. You can sprinkle this on enemies to turn them into small sacks, or on bushes to easily get rid of them. You can also head on down the hole near the Swordsmiths in Kakariko Village to have your magic meter cut by half. |

The Shovel
Many things can be dug up with this useful tool. If you ever are sparse in rupees, start digging around. Most likely, you will find treasure. You will get this from where the Ocarina player sits in the dark world. Use it to dig up the ocarina just to the left of where the boy is playing in a small patch of flowers. |

Bombos
Bombos is a spell that will create a fiery explosion all over the room. It is very useful in the fifth level in the Dark World or if there are many enemies on the screen. In the Dark World, head towards the desert. You cant get into it, but in the area of pegs, use the mirror. Go left and use the Book of Mudora to read the inscription on the stone. |

Ether
The Ether can be learned by reading the stone left of the Tower of Power. It will cause an icy ring to swarm around Link, freezing most anything on the screen. |

Quake
This is found on the Northeastern edge in the Dark World. It will allow Link to thrust his sword into the ground, causing an earthquake. This is the key to gaining access to Turtle Rock. |

Big Key
Big Keys are found in dungeons. They are used to open doors that lead to bosses, and large chests. |
|
 |
Dungeon Map
These are found in dungeons. They help show you where rooms are located. |
|
 |
Compass
Compasses are found in dungeons. They will point out items and boss locations on your map. |
|
 |
Moonpearl
This item is found in the Tower of Power. It will allow Link to enter the Dark World without being changed into a rabbit. |

 |
Red Potion
This red potion will allow Link to regain his health. A good thing to bring into battle. |
|
 |
Green Potion
This green potion when drank, will allow Link to regain his magic. |
|
 |
Blue Potion
This blue potion, when drank, will cause Link to regain health and magic. They are a bit costly, but are worth going into battle with. |
